Dante winner Wings of Desire amongst big names heading to Breakfast with the Stars

WINGS OF DESIRE will follow a tried-and-tested route to the Investec Derby when he emulates last year's hero, former stablemate Golden Horn, with an appearance at Epsom Downs Racecourses ‘Breakfast with the Stars’. The impressive Dante winner will get a feel of the track under jockey Frankie Dettori, on Tuesday 24th May, as trainer John Gosden looks to repeat last year’s success when he took Investec Derby first and second Golden Horn and Jack Hobbs to the morning gallop. Gosden will also bring the Godolphin owned Linguistic who was last seen when finishing runner-up in the Dee stakes at Chester’s May meeting.

Another Godolphin contender, Cloth Of Stars, who came from last to first to land the Prix Greffulhe at Saint-Cloud this month, will travel from Andre Fabre’s Chantilly base to get a feel for the iconic undulations at the Epsom Downs track.

Roger Varian will give Postponed a first look at the course in preparation for The Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Cup. Postponed who won the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Royal Ascot last season, has started this season in fine form winning the Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan.

Hugo Palmer will send Investec Oaks filly Architecture following her close second in the Oaks trial at Lingfield, whilst Mick Channon’s duo Harrison and Harlequeen, who are entered for the Derby and Oaks respectively will also take part in the popular Epsom morning gathering.

TalkSport will be broadcasting from Breakfast with the Stars at Epsom Downs Racecourse on 24 May.
